Hyoyeon


Hyoyeon is a South Korean singer, dancer and DJ and a member of girl group Girls' Generation. 
She started her solo career in December 2016 with single Mystery
June 2017 saw the release of her second solo song, Wannabe. 

The release of her 3rd solo song 'Sober' saw a new type of music genre be delivered, and more of her ideology became present with the video and song talking about body image and sexuality. 


Both songs have a large emphasis on dance and the main performance parts of the video show her hip hop dance ability.
Her purpose in the group is always to initiate a dance break, and she has appeared on many Korean dancing shows such as hit the stage, being a notorious competitor.
Her solos also feature a variety of rap and singing as she is a very versatile artist.

The group originally consisted of 9 members until 2014 when Jessica left.
Their single "Gee", had over 1 million downloads and was named the song of the decade in the 2000s.
